Obedience - Includes 10 private lessons with one of our trainersThis introductory obedience package teaches the essential skills to you and your dog to open the lines of communication and begin to mold the partner you dreamed of having. We begin by teaching the following commands and drills to create a foundation for training.

Advanced Obedience - Private Lessons or Board & TrainThis course is for those who want to take obedience to the next level. We will prepare your dog for anything you want to teach them including, Service work, tricks, competitions or simply an amazing family dog.

Puppy Orientation/Training - This is one lesson 1-2 hoursOur puppy orientation is designed to give you the tools needed to start your dog on the path to obedience. This training is recommended for dogs 8 weeks to 20 weeks to help create good habits from an early age. This is a crucial period in your dog's life and you only get one chance at this young impressionable time. This class will cover introduction to training and how dog training works. We also cover potty training, biting, chewing, jumping, whining, kennel training, treat training, early age outside and noise exposure, nutrition and any other puppy questions you may have.

Obedience Board and Train (4 weeks)
The board and train program is ideal for the person that does not have the time to train as often as needed to build the powerful obedience base, but desires an obedient, well trained dog. Four weeks of focused training in Norton’s workshops will certainly transform your dog and open the lines of communication while maintaining the sweet spirit you fell in love with. This training course covers Come, Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Place but more importantly, we teach them how to learn and how to listen. The dogs get tons of socialization time, confidence building, park behavior training, public access in stores, casinos and more. Our trainers work very hard to make your dog the best they can be. Our desire is that your dog enjoys their life and you enjoy your dog in a stress free environment.
This is very limited availability as we give these dogs a tremendous amount of attention.

Group Lessons - Coming Soon!
Group lessons will cover the similar curriculum as the individual obedience lessons. In these classes you would not have the same one-on-one attention from your instructor. However, you get to watch others perform the same tasks and most importantly work your dog in a group. |

Stressed or Anxious Dogs
This training is for dogs that have had a bad interaction somewhere. They could have been a shelter dog or in a bad home environment. They could have had a negative interaction with another dog and now they are nervous or aggressive. They may have been with a trainer that was heavy-handed or not properly schooled with various dog behaviors. What you do know is they are afraid of the world and you feel terrible about it. Call and speak to one of our trainers about your dog. In most cases, we can restore most of the dog’s confidence and help them enjoy life once again. These lessons will cover the similar curriculum as the individual obedience lessons, with an emphasis on confidence building. Ask your NDT trainer which program would be best for your dog. |

Gun Dog Obedience (Hunting Dogs) This obedience course is very similar to the standard obedience class. In addition to standard obedience, this course will have a heavy emphasis on fetch, introduction to birds, the gun and other gun dog specific obedience. This is a specialized training for conservation gun dogs. Our trainers are very experienced in this arena. Talk to our trainers about these programs. |
