Brad Norton of Norton Dog Training is by far the best dog trainer my fiancé and I have ever met! We started taking our German Shepherd Skye to him when she was 12 weeks old. She is now 1 year old and we still continue progressive training with Mr. Norton. We began with the obedience training which we LOVED! Brad is a genuinely caring dog trainer who will be honest and upfront when it comes to what your dog needs. He is a dog owner himself and so he understands those people who treat their dogs like family. During our independent at home training sessions, if we needed to call Brad to ask about bad habits we noticed in our dog he was always available to take our call and assist us off the clock. After the 10 day obedience training was over we decided to take our dog to the next level. Brad was happy to continue working with us and our pup. We are so glad we took the plunge and sought out Norton dog training to train our dog, she has come such a long way and we constantly get compliments on how well behaved and focused she is when we are out in public. We are thankful for Brad Norton and all he has done for us and our baby girl Skye!

Before Norton dog training Tucker would drag me around anytime he was on leash. After just a week with Brad not only has Tuck learned to respect me but Brad has taught me how to properly lead Tucker. Amazing dog training for both dog and owner.

Words cannot express how GRATEFUL I am for Norton Dog Training. I have a 2 year old mini-Australian Shepherd with bounds of energy and a desire to learn. She was already a highly intelligent dog; however, she only did things when she chose to do them. My goals for Sadie were to have an understanding of basic commands when I asked them and for her feel comfortable with her surroundings (ex: not barking at everything because she viewed it as a threat). Sadie has now mastered her basic commands and is currently working on jumping through hoops...literally.
Brad not only teaches the dog, but he also teaches how the owner can continue the training at home. As most people with jobs, it seems hard to fit in other little things throughout the day; however, Brad sets workouts that can be done in very little time. He also makes himself available for any questions. This is particularly amazing when you need things answered right away!

​My dog Duke (a six month old lab) and I have been working with Brad for about 2 months now. Brad was recommended by my brother after he went through his training course with his dog. After doing some research and meeting with Brad for a consultation I knew he was the trainer I was looking for.
Brad has worked wonders on my dog. When we first met for the consultation Duke was a typical puppy. He wouldn’t stay in one spot for more than a half a second. He wouldn't sit, was jumping all over people including my kids, and had taken over my house. He was basically running the show.
Fast forward two months and I now have a dog that others would love to have. And we aren't even finished with his training. He is still a puppy and has boneheaded moments like any puppy would but he has now become a part of our family.

June 6 at 10:52am · We started working with Brad when our pooch, Timber, was four months old. He was great with Timber. He is very knowledgeable and gentle with our puppy as we started his training. He gave us some basic obedience training to work on. We started doing training sessions at 6 mo, and because of the basic obedience timber picked up on things very quickly. Brad helped turn out 6 month old puppy into the dog of our dreams in a very short time. Timber is now 9 months old and we couldn’t be happier with his attitude and abilities. We have our awesome puppy with the obedience of a 3 year old dog. All of this came from the training sessions with brad and the simple training homework we did at home. Brad is great with people and dogs alike and we couldn’t have done it without the knowledge and help from him.
